Mariah Carey grateful for motherhood

Mariah Carey has publicly thanked her husband Nick Cannon for persuading her to become a mum - because now she can't imagine life without the couple's twins Moroccan and Monroe.

The pop superstar admits that having kids wasn't always on the cards for her and it took marriage to Cannon to change her mind.

She tells In Touch magazine, "I never thought I'd experience motherhood. My career was my life... When you find the right person, you go through it."

The twins were born 21 months ago and Carey admits she's still smitten with her babies: "(Moroccan) is my little buddy. We watch movies together. He can be a little more aggressive, but not in a bad way - he'll give his sister a little tap when she's trying to give him a hug. Monroe is just a sweetie.
"I'm so in love. Every moment is incredible."
